Hundreds of professionals in the gerontology space convened at Oregon State University on Thursday, April 17 at the school’s 48th annual Gerontology Conference to discuss important topics in aging and elder care. One of those topics was compassion fatigue, which had its own breakout session.
Gray Bear Publications exhibited RELIT: How to Rekindle Yourself in the Darkness of Compassion Fatigue as special guests of the conference. We had spirited conversations with about 50 of the attendees, many of whom left the conference with their own copy of the book.
