At this time, we are looking primarily for projects in the areas of
- Personal or family memoir
- Single-author or multi-author books as marketing tools for businesses
- Books about doing good in the world, either fiction or nonfiction
- Collections of poetry, short fiction, or essays
- Novels in science fiction, fantasy, espionage, or procedural/thriller genres
Projects should be under 95,000 words and must be in English for the prices below.
Full publishing package: $7,500
This package takes you from your draft manuscript to worldwide print-on-demand publication and ebook distribution. It includes
- Full editing services to make your book the best it can be
- Final proofread
- ISBNs for paperback and ebook
- Cover design and interior file formatting for print and ebook
- Book metadata management for distribution partners
- Preorder setup and reporting as well as upload and distribution to all retail booksellers
- Ongoing management of book sales, revision updates, etc.
- Essential marketing and publicity support including press release
Assisted self-publishing: $4,000
If your book is complete and ready for its final proofread and debut, this slimmed down package will bring it to the world. It includes
- ISBNs for paperback and ebook
- Cover design and interior file formatting for print and ebook
- Book metadata management for distribution partners
- Preorder setup and reporting as well as upload and distribution to all retail booksellers
- Ongoing management of book sales, revision updates, etc.
- Essential marketing and publicity support including press release
Book coaching, consulting, editing, and add-on marketing services
If you’re still in progress on your book and need some coaching, consulting, or editing, we’ll quote a project price based on the scope of work, the type of work, and an hourly rate appropriate for the expertise required. We use the Editorial Freelancer’s Association website as a starting point for establishing hourly rates and project estimates.
Some marketing and publicity services are included in the publishing packages, but if you want additional help in that area, or if you need some coaching after your book is published, we can help.
